The Whittier Art Association formed in 1934, with a goal of bringing art into the growing community of Whittier. The Association built the Whittier Art Gallery, in 1939, and began exhibiting the work of many of the most prominent artists in the Southland. For over 80 years the Gallery has provided monthly art exhibits, at no charge to the public. The Whittier Art Association and Gallery is a nonprofit 501 (c)3.
The Whittier Art Association and Gallery is now open on Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. To ensure the health & safety of our community, visitors, and staff, COVID protocols are in place for everyone's protection.
We have opened opportunities to view and purchase works of art from our Present Exhibit page and the Gift Gallery page.
Visit our Gift Gallery to find unique handmade gifts for family and friends.
