Poetry Reading: November 16 6:30-9:30 pm ​

Whether by the click of a shutter or the tap of a keyboard, photographers and writers challenge us to experience the world through their eyes and minds.​

The Whittier Art Gallery walls will be hung with photographs, in addition and parallel to the photography show we will be working with writers/poets.​

Come and enjoy the planned poetry events during the run of the show.  There is an open writing contest, a poetry night and a FREE poetry class.  Write a poem inspired by a photographers' selected photos.  Details are at the gallery, for any new and experienced writers. Come to the Gallery between 11/8-11/12 to choose the photography and submit your poetry.  Must be turned in by 11/12/23 5:00 pm
